This Sunday my little BubbleToes Adelaide Rose turned a mighty 8 years old. My little baby. My girl. I remember when she was born. The first time I saw her I thought, "This one is gonna be trouble." She is the one who opened my heart. Taught me about love. Made me smile like no other could. And saved me. I'll always love the years when she was younger and we had one on one time for hours every day as I worked at nights. The games, the shows, the walks, the scooter rides, the bike rides, the dog. She has been such a big part of my life. She is so beautiful. I just love my little goose nut. Happy Birthday Adelaide. We did a little day trip to the zoo. I don't remember seeing much as she trail blazed the way right to the polar bear exhibit. It's her #1.
That explains her carousel choice.
We also picked out her baptismal dress.
And she lost her fourth tooth and got a visit from a somewhat late but still very sneaky toothfairy.
And if I had to draft a running back from the kids at our house, she'd be my first choice. The speed!
