A Nice Gentle Slope

For the most part, that is how I would describe Provo Canyon. It allows for 6-8 miles of casual 5 mph longboarding. Point of science - the lower you sit on your board the faster you go. So standing = slowest. Kneeling = medium. Laying down = fastest. On this day I chose to kneel as I tried catching up to my group. It worked until I got to one of the areas with a quick descent and too much traffic on the path. You must watch Part I to appreciate Part II.

You'd See Us More If You Lived In CA

People have long wondered whether or not Brandon Brown is an actual family member. Well the answer is yes. But because the timing was off and we got stuck with Jef, Heaven had to send Brandon to a different earthly family. But through the works of life, we found him and I am ever so glad to have a brother like him. So to celebrate his birthday (Aug 28) I took the kids, once again, to California. If you have never road tripped with my two squirts, you should. They pack light, travel well, and poop infrequently.
Reggie after he packed.

A stop for dinner (notice we travel in our pajamas).

We took in the toy stores and pet shops of the Mission Viejo Mall, but of course all they wanted to do was get back on the road.

Enjoyed an exciting Angel game won in the bottom of the ninth and then were spoiled with a fireworks display.

We also got the chance to visit the San Diego Zoo. This was Addie's highlight as she has been on the biggest Polar Bear kick in the world.

Thanks to Brandon and his wonderful wife Meghan and their adorable children for housing us two nights in Laguna Niguel and hooking us up with a one night downtown penthouse two bedroom condo in San Diego. Sometimes I feel bad that I still call him by his 20 year old nickname, "Poop". But only sometimes.
